Wantage Community Larder

Wantage Community Larder is a membership based service providing food on Friday afternoons at The Beacon in Portway. As a member you can access surplus food on a larger scale, and longer dated, than at a community fridge.

The Larder is here to reduce food waste and create a community hub. It is based on a model developed by SOFEA whose work transforms people’s lives by giving young people a purpose and providing the support they need. To find out more about SOFEA visit their website.
