This year, we have concentrated our efforts on distributing surplus food to the local community, prioritising those in most need – find out more on The Mix Community Fridge page. Thanks to the generosity of your donations, the support of local supermarkets and distributors, and the amazing support of volunteers. Our Repair Cafe techs have been fixing up old laptops, to pass on to students needing a device to learn from home – we’re collecting again: more info here.

The Mix is a community space run by Sustainable Wantage, which aims to provide practical ways to live more sustainably and bring our local community together – read our story.

Repair Cafe at The Mix

When we reopen fully, you’ll be able to use our crafts Resource Bank, attend sustainability workshops and fix stuff at our Repair Cafe. Until then, join us on Zoom for virtual events, where our volunteer technicians will help you diagnose your faulty items: view our Events Calendar here, our Facebook Events page or email Jo at wantagemix@gmail.com.

In the meantime, join us for monthly Green Drinks discussions, which happen on the last Wednesday of every month – now via Zoom! Talks are around sustainable themes and everyone is welcome.
